(Minghui.org) Ms. He Zhiwei is a practitioner from Zhuhai City in Guangdong Province. Agents from the Zhuhai 610 Office arrested her on her way to work at 8:00 a.m. on July 11, 2012 and kept her at the Sanshui Brainwashing Center for five months. When her family visited her at the brainwashing center on October 13, they discovered that she once again had spinal disc herniation as a result of torture. The guards did not allow her to sleep for nine consecutive nights.
When Ms. He was arrested in 2009, thugs beat her in Zhanjiang Brainwashing Center and she ended up with a herniated disc.
When Ms. He’s family went to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center again on November 25, 2012, they were not allowed to see here and were threatened that they would be arrested. A woman police officer (ID number 4470048) swore at Ms. He’s 87-year-old mother.
Ms. He used to work at Zhuhai Customs Declaration Agency. After beginning the practice of Falun Gong in 1997, she became healthier, her moral values improved, and she worked ever more diligently.
Over the past 10 years, Ms. He was detained several times and her home ransacked. She was brainwashed and tortured. Below are some examples of what she endured.
Zhuhai 610 Office agents held Ms. He in a detention center in 2000. Pressured by officials, her husband assisted the police with ransacking her home and then divorced her.
Agents from 610 Office, Chaoyang Police Station, and Cuixiang Police Station went ransacked Ms. He’s home early in 2002. They confiscated bank deposit documents valued at more than 200,000 yuan and her driver’s license. Ms. He’s mother and 13-year-old daughter was also detained for 10 days.
The Jieyang Police broke into her home on the morning of May 1, 2002. They sent Ms. He to Zhuhai Brainwashing Center for nearly one year and confiscated 7,000 yuan in cash and other personal belongings.
Ms. He was taken to Meixi First Detention Center on April 16, 2003, and then to the Sanshui Labor Camp on April 18. She was tortured by being forced to squat and not allowed to use the toilet. In addition, she was deprived of sleep for seven days and force-fed.
After more than a year in the labor camp, officials sent Ms. He to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center in April 2004. She did not return home until June 10, 2005. Afterwards, she was still harassed and her phone was bugged.
Agents from Zhuhai 610 Office and Xiangwan Community arrested Ms. He when she went shopping on June 15, 2006. They took her to the Zhuhai Military Hostel for brainwashing.
When Ms. He was taking care of her mother who could not look after herself in April 2009, Zhuhai 610 Office agents arrested her and took her to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center. Later they took her to the Zhanjiang Brainwashing Center where she was beaten by a group of thugs which caused a herniated disc. She was then sent to the Chatou Brainwashing Center and tied up in a chair for 21 days. When a doctor examined her later, he saw that her buttocks had festered. In the Guangzhou City Brainwashing Center she was only allowed a few bites of food each meal, or sometimes even no food at all for the entire day. This lasted for more than a month. Ms. He returned home on December 23, 2010.
