Ms. Liu Xing Arrested Again and Police Extort Funds from Her Husband

(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Xing was arrested again on December 19, 2013. The police extorted money from her husband, a biotechnology company leader who does not practice Falun Gong.

Since Ms. Liu started to practice Falun Dafa, she has had an excellent record as an accounting manager at work and has been a responsible wife and mother.

Ms. Liu Xing’s family owns a biotechnology company, She and her husband have two young children. After she was arrested in 2009 and during May 2013, Li Xuejun of the Daxing District 610 Office extorted large amounts of money from her husband.

In May 24, 2013, Ms. Liu was arrested for using a currency bill that had a positive message about Falun Dafa written on it. She was detained for 15 days.

The police constantly harassed her family and threatened her husband, demanding he divorce her. Her husband was mentally exhausted, which affected the operation of the company. He ordered her and relatives to pressure her to renounce Falun Dafa.

A month before Ms. Liu’s latest arrest, the police started threatening her husband. They claimed that they would take her to a brainwashing center and confiscate the company if he did not cooperate. He was so frightened that he almost divorced her.
