Minghui Receives Thousands of New Year’s Greetings Paying Respect to Master Li Hongzhi

(Minghui.org) With the Chinese New Year rapidly approaching this coming weekend, the Minghui website is receiving thousands of greetings and cards on behalf of Falun Gong’s founder, Master Li Hongzhi.

Minghui published almost 70 compilations of greetings on February 7, 2013, with each compilation containing a dozen or more cards or well wishes from practitioners around the world.

Greetings come from all around the world, but of particular note are the numerous greetings sent in from Mainland China. Falun Gong and founder Master Li Hongzhi are widely respected and honored by tens of millions of practitioners in China, despite the relentless and brutal persecution that Falun Gong continues to face at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party regime.

Practitioners succeed in sending in thousands of greetings despite the so-called “Great Firewall of China,” a massive Internet censorship mechanism specifically tuned to stop any Falun Gong related Internet traffic from entering or leaving the country. One can only wonder, if the “Great Firewall” was gone, how many tens of thousands more greetings might Master Li receive?

Minghui Launches Greetings Sub-site

Minghui recently launched a sub-site that showcases the many greetings received on Master Li’s behalf. Greetings are now published simultaneously on Minghui.org and Greetings.Minghui.org.

English translations of many of the greetings received will be presented on en.Minghui.org in upcoming days as more than one billion Chinese people around the world celebrate this most important annual holiday, the Lunar New Year.
