Ms. Hu Mingxia Arrested for Her Belief in Falun Gong

(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hu Mingxia was secretly arrested around noon on April 23, 2014.

It was said that the Xiuwen County 610 Office and local police have been targeting her for persecution.

Ms. Hu, an employee of the Xiuwen County Development and Reform Bureau, started practicing Falun Gong in 2000 and is known for being a good person.

Although Xiuwen County is relatively small, with a population of less than 30,000, over a dozen Falun Gong practitioners in this area have been detained for their beliefs. They have been illegally sentenced to prison terms ranging from two years to twenty years. Several dozen families were implicated and harassed by Chinese Communist Party officials. Some practitioners in Xiuwen County died as result of torture, including Mr. Hu Dali and his mother.
