Texas, USA: Seven Cities Recognize Falun Dafa with Proclamations

(Minghui.org) Seven cities in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, USA recently issued proclamations supporting Falun Dafa in their communities, in recognition of Falun Dafa’s positive impact on mental and physical health, and efforts by practitioners to help local people learn more by hosting free workshops since 1996.

Practitioners in the Greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area celebrated World Falun Dafa Day at Russell Creek Park in Plano on May 10, 2014. The town of Addison and City of Plano also declared May 10-16 as “Falun Dafa Week.”

May 13, 2014 marks the 15th anniversary of World Falun Dafa Day and the 22nd anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa.

In addition to acknowledging efforts by local practitioners in passing on the benefits of Falun Dafa to residents during various community events, these city-level proclamations also praise the spirit of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

“Falun Dafa practitioners’ determination and courage to stand up for Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance while facing severe persecution from the Chinese Communist Party has shown the world the value of life and the preciousness of human dignity.”

The seven cities include Addison, Allen, Arlington, Bedford, Frisco, Plano, and Southlake.
