(Minghui.org) A Falun Gong photo exhibit, “Peaceful Resistance,” was held in Mersin, a city in southern Turkey, in May 2015. Bazaar Cafe, a place where locals frequent for artistic events, provided its spacious garden for the event.
Mr. Nedim, the owner of the cafe, often said, “My door is always open to Falun Gong practitioners.” He lived in Germany for 30 years and had heard about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. He said that the persecution, in which millions of practitioners were tortured for their beliefs, is simply horrible.
The three-day event was a great opportunity for a lot of locals to learn about the peaceful practice and the persecution in China. Many of them condemned the persecution and expressed support for Falun Gong.
