Police Chief to Postal Worker: “Mail the Complaints for Them.”

July 28, 2015

(Minghui.org) Two Falun Gong practitioners from Liaoning Province recently joined more than 80,000 people in filing complaints against Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution against Falun Gong. Despite initial difficulties, they gained support of the local police chief and sent out their legal documents.

The two practitioners went to a local post office in Fushen City on July 10, 2015, to mail out their prepared legal documents. However, the postal worker there refused to accept their parcels. The practitioners pointed out that it was their right to mail letters to whomever they wish and demanded an explanation.

The post office had received directives from the local police not to accept any mail destined for the Supreme People’s Procuratorate and the Supreme People’s Court. The practitioners and the postal worker then went to the local police station for confirmation.

At the police station, the practitioners reiterated that mailing letters was their right as Chinese citizens and it was illegal to reject their letters.

They also shared that more than 20,000 people had filed complaints against Jiang in the previous week alone.

After listening to the practitioners explain why they wanted to file complaints against Jiang and how Falun Gong had been wrongfully persecuted for the past 16 years, the police chief eventually understood.

“Mail the complaints for them,” he said.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang’s directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
